Designer of the typeface, ITC Avant Garde and probably the most influential graphic designer of the 20th century, Herb Lubalin, best known for his experimentation with typography and editorial layout, is paid tribute to on this great site that showcases some of his most inspiring work. Its hard to believe that some of his work was produced more than 40 years ago.
